DAVID CRISCI |
Pianist
vocalist David Crisci performs classic music from the 40's &
50's, "Sinatra" style hits, Jazz tunes and adult contemporary
favorites. He is a superb and highly regarded Pittsburgh pianist
who is a popular entertainer for gala affairs and corporate events
alike. Dave can also be seen as a solo performer or with Pittsburgh’s
top musicians, playing regularly at the city’s upscale nightclubs
and restaurants, country clubs, private venues and hotels. Dave
can also perform in a duo or trio ensemble joined by a female
vocalist, saxophonist and/or drummer.In addition, during his breaks
David can provide DJ service and plays a mix of top 40 and adult
contemporary dance tunes in a variety of music styles from a library
of CDs that spans seven decades. Dave's performance includes his
own keyboards and state-of-the-art DJ sound system.

Dr ZOOT |
|
Though they are best known as Pittsburgh’s
red-hot Swing & Latin Jazz band, Dr Zoot easily switches gears
to crank out a diverse selection of tunes and play a variety of
music styles of hits from the 40’s through the 90’s.
The 7-piece, all-male ensemble includes horn section (trumpet,
trombone and saxophone), keyboards, drums, upright bass and guitar.
Dr Zoot comes self-contained, providing sound and lighting for
their performance.
Equally at home
playing for college, corporate or wedding crowds, Dr Zoot is happy
to arrange for special song requests and can make announcements
throughout the event if desired. They are also available as a
3 to 5 piece ensemble.

TONY JANFLONE, Jr. BAND |
|
Supreme 4-piece rock blues band fronted by
Tony Janflone, an award-winning guitarist voted numerous times
as "Best Jazz/Blues Guitarist" in Pittsburgh City Paper’s
polls. The band performs a variety of music and Tony plays cordless,
travels into the audience, takes requests and really gets people
on their feet and dancing. Tony and the band were featured at
the B.B. King Blues Festival held in Pittsburgh in 2002, along
with musicians George Thorogood, The Fabulous Thunderbirds and
Joe Bonamassa.
Tony can be heard
in the company of some of the best guitarists in the world as
a featured performer on a tribute CD to guitar greats Joe Satriani
and Steve Vai titled, "Lords of Karma - A Tribute To Vai/Satriani".
He has also recently been selected as an endorser of Dillon Guitars
- www.dillonguitars.com/guitars. Most recently, Tony was featured
on a Bon Jovi Tribute CD, performing the song "Wanted Dead
Or Alive."

Dr. KWASI & the ISLANDERS |
|
This 3-piece Steel Drum Calypso band features
the steel drum, congas and bass, and is fronted by Caribbean born
musician, teacher and drum craftsman Kwasi Jayourba. Dr. Kwasi
& The Islanders perform the music of the islands, with a mix
of popular contemporary tunes done in the band’s own unique
style. Guests also enjoy the ever-popular Limbo Contest.
Dr. Kwasi also
offers a lecture entitled "Drums of the World" in which
he displays a variety of beautifully crafted percussion drums
from around the world. The lecture includes an informal discussion
on the history and construction of the various drums, with Dr.
Kwasi inviting students to play the various instruments.

PIANO JAMMERS |
|
Piano Jammers is a high-energy show featuring
dueling pianos and vocals with Sal Ventura and John Hasinger.
Your guests join the dueling pianists in singing classic rock
and contemporary tunes, making this is a very fun act with full
audience involvement! Both Sal and John are professionally trained,
full-time musicians. They provide their own state-of-the-art sound
system and keyboards that can include baby grand facades.

SALSAMBA |
|
Salsamba is a Latin jazz quintet that blends
the traditions of American jazz with the spicy rhythms of Cuba,
Brazil, and the Caribbean - the result is great music that delights
the listener with it’s originality. Based in Pittsburgh,
Salsamba performs at clubs, festivals and colleges throughout
the United States. They have opened for Latin jazz king Tito Puente,
guitarists John Scofield and Stanley Jordan, Steel Pan player
Andy Narell, and flutist Dave Valentin. Salsamba’s CDs,
“Mambo in Blue”, Mambo Del Sol” and “Latinventions”
have received considerable airplay nationwide. The band are featured
performers on National Public Radio’s American Jazz Radio
Festival, which airs nationwide on over 125 stations.
This 5-piece band
can also be joined by a female vocalist if so desired.

This ultimate dance band brings the electricity
and fun of island style partying to the western hemisphere! Six
on the Beach plays an irrepressible mix of red-hot South of the
Border music from tropical locales ~ Caribbean tunes, Calypso
and Reggae hits, spicy Latin Mambo and Salsa numbers, Jimmy Buffett
tunes, and, of course, all the favorite classic rock, Oldies and
sing-a-long hits that evoke warm weather fun.
This 6-piece band
(better known as Dr Zoot when not in “Island” mode)
knows how to party, easily switching from one style of island
music to the next, creating a heat wave on the dance floor with
just the right mix of Caribbean, Latin and American grooves. They
come self-contained providing their own sound and lighting.

ALLI GILLIS |
|
A gifted 16-year old vocalist in a country
music vein, Alli’s
talents have received rave reviews, creating quite a buzz throughout
the tri-state area. She had the honor of singing for President
George Bush at a Republican rally, performing to an audience of
13,000, and served as opening act for country singer Lee Ann Womack.
In the past few years, Alli has opened for country artists such
as Trick Pony, Joe Diffy, Mark Chesnutt and Chris Cagle, along
with being a featured performer on KDKA’s Children’s
Hospital Foundation TV special. Alli describes her performance
style as soft, finding inspiration in Womack, Alison Krauss and
local country legend Joe Patrick. Alli and Joe are well recognized
for their performance of the song “Fallen Heroes”
written not only for the servicemen and women of this country,
but for the firefighters, police and anyone else who has made
a sacrifice for our country.

THE CLARKS |
|
The Clarks are one of Pittsburgh's most popular
local
bands. Their music can be described as a blend of rock, pop, alternative,
and country. Their gritty live sound goes perfectly with their
songs that tackle the hardships of everyday life. Although they
are a local band, The Clarks have also developed strongholds in
markets outside of the region, including Cleveland, Milwaukee,
Chicago, Baltimore, DC, and New York. The Clarks have played at
shows for well-known artists such as Steely Dan and 3 Doors Down.
Their songs can be heard in the films "Boys" (with Winona
Ryder) and "Just Write". Over the past year, The Clarks
have performed at over 200 shows.

DONNIE IRIS |
|
Donnie Iris is an American rock musician known
for his work with The Jaggerz and Wild Cherry during the 1970s,
and for his solo albums during the 1980s. He was responsible for
writing the #2 Billboard hit "The Rapper", with the
Jaggerz, and was a member of Wild Cherry after they experienced
a #1 hit with "Play That Funky Music". After going on
to release five solo albums in the 1980s accompanied with many
charting singles, Iris continues to release new material and tour
in the Ohio River Valley area, and he maintains a loyal fan base,
especially in Pittsburgh.

B.E. Taylor has been a favorite for years on
both the National and Regional music scene with a career that
saw him record three major label albums in six years (two for
MCA and one for Epic/CBS), score several regional top ten hits
and as the former lead singer of the very popular B.E. Taylor
Group, score two BILLBOARD TOP 100 HITS with his release of ‘KAREN”
on Epic Records and “Vitamin L” on MCA records. He
has performed on several national commercial spots and has performed
with such legendary acts as Chicago, Todd Rundgren, Little River
Band, Christopher Cross, the Beach Boys & many more.

Affectionately known as ZAPOLOGY because of his fascination with technology, reggae artist, writer and producer Delroy ‘Zap’ Clarke has been breaking down barriers for a number of years as a lead vocalist/keyboardist for the S.W.A.M.M.P. BAND.
By incorporating the ever-popular styles of Roots, Dancehall, Hip-Hop and the soulful sounds of R&B, Zap showcases a wide range of musical styles in the many facets of Reggae music. His current CD “DIAMOND IN A RUFF” demonstrates this in songs like ‘Here I am&rsquo, ‘So Fine’ (his latest single release), ‘The Rise’ (instrumental) and Sting’s ‘SOS’. His hit single, ‘People Make The World Go Round’, received rave reviews in London, England. Zap flexes his production skills on the latest international release by Fyah Wyah on her “RAW 2000” CD for the song “On The Beach.” Zap’s musical performances are uplifting, inspiring, and versatile in style. His keyboard performance is complimented by his silky vocals, creating a sound that is truly of it’s own flavor.
