LET IT RIDE POKER |
|
Let it Ride is a card game that is a variation of
Poker that offers large payoffs for small wagers. The interesting
thing is that Players aren't playing against each other OR the Dealer.
All the Players need to win is a qualifying Poker hand (i.e. a pair
of 10s or better). Best of all, Players can actually take back their
bets as the cards are being dealt if they don't like their hands!
Here's how it's played:
- The game begins with Players placing 3 equal bets in the 3 betting
spots in front of them on the table lay.
- All of the Players are then dealt three cards (face down).
- The Dealer also deals himself 2 cards face down.
- The Dealer's two cards are actually 'Community Cards' and will
be used by each Player to make up their five card poker hand.
- There is also one Joker in the deck, which is used as a WILD card.
- After Players receive their three cards, and they have the beginnings
of a winning hand (or if they're just feeling lucky), they can "Let
It Ride", which leaves all 3 of their bets on the table.
- If a Player doesn't think their hand looks promising, they can
take back one of their equal bets at this time.
- The Dealer then turns over the first Community Card.
- This becomes the 4th card in all the Player's hands.
- If a Player has a winning hand, they will let their remaining
bets ride. If they don't have a winning hand, they can once again
take back a bet.
- The Dealer then turns over the second Community Card, which completes
everyone's hand.
- If a Player's final hand is a pair of 10s or better, they win!
They are paid off according to the Payout Schedule below.
- Player's winnings will be doubled if they allowed 2 of their bets
to ride, and tripled if they allowed all three of their bets to
ride.
