Sic Bo is an ancient Chinese game that is entertaining, easy to learn,
and fun to play. The game is played with 3 dice and the object is
to select winning numbers or combinations of the numbers that appear
on three dice after they've been rolled. There are up to 50 different
ways to win - here are the different betting combinations:
Single Number Bets:
The bottom row of the Sic Bo Table has six betting areas - numbered
1 to 6. These are the Single Number Bets. If one of the three dice
comes up as one of the numbers you've bet on you'd be paid 1 to 1.
If two numbers you've bet on come up you are paid 2 to 1, and if three
numbers come up you are paid 3 to 1. For example, if you bet $1,000.00
on the number 6 and two sixes came up you would win $2,000.00.
Two Number Combinations:
The Two Number Combination Bets consist of all of the different combinations
of two dice. Players can place a wager on as many different 2 dice
combinations as they wish and all of these combinations are paid at
5 to 1. For example, if you wager on the 6,4 combination and the three
dice that come up are 4, 7, 6 you would win 5 to 1. And - if the result
of the three dice is 6, 4, 4 - you would win twice because that is
actually two different combinations of 6,4.
Three Number Totals:
The Three Number Total wagers consist of the combined total of all
three di on the roll. There are different odds for different totals,
according to the degree of difficulty of rolling that total. The odds
are listed below each wager. A total of 3 or 18 is always a loss.
The payouts are as follows:
Dice total of 4 or 17................Pays 50 to 1
Dice total of 5 or 16................Pays 20 to 1
Dice total of 6 or 15................Pays 10 to 1
Dice total of 7 or 14................Pays 10 to 1
Dice total of 8 or 13................Pays 2 to 1
Dice total of 9, 10, 11 or 12.....Pays 1 to 1
Low or High Wager:
You can wager on whether the combined total of all 3 dice on the roll
will be either Low (between 4 and 10) or High (between 11 and 17).
This wager pays out at 1 to 1. A triple will always result in a loss
for the player.
Triple Bets:
Triples are when all three dice rolled are the same number. For example,
if you wagered on the box with Triple 1's, 2’s or 3’s and the dice
roll is 3,3,3 - you would win to 50 to 1. You can also wager on all
six Triple Bets with a single wager - this is called "Any Triple"
and it pays out at 25 to 1.
Pair Bets:
Pairs occur when two of the dice on the roll are the same number.
The payout for the two different Pair Bets (1’s, 2’s and 3’s *or*
4’s, 5’s and 6’s) is 10 to 1. However, if you've bet on a pair of
5's and three fives are rolled, you are only paid for winning one
Pair Bet. |
